With all the tools, exporters, open source utlities, etc. the various artists use, FBX Review is useful to ensure that their work can be used in your pipeline. One acceptance criterion for a deliverable is that if works correctly in FBX Review, no matter what they used to create it. If it works in FBX Review, then any issues importing are due to your pipeline and not their work. I would like support for pose morphs/blend shapes as well.

Do not download this. I have spent days scouring the net trying to find out how to get it off my desktop. When I try to move it to the trash it wont let me because "the app is not downloaded". TRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No clear way to navigate a model file. Controls disappear right when I opened an FBX file. Not a very useful app.
Downloaded the newest version v1.5.0 to my new MacBook Pro running Big Sur. Can't view any supported file formats, including the two sample FBX files they provide for you to use to try it out. Harumph... You would think a company like this would/could stay on top of an OS update that came out in November. I gues they can't/won't. This app is a big bust. (March 10, 2021)
Update, 1 day later: finally, it has switched from “purchased” to the cloud symbol (ready for download). Only, it still doesn’t download. It circles around for 10–15 seconds and then reverts back to the cloud symbol. In other words: some progress, but as useless as before. Download seems to be broken. I tried several times, each time it takes a while, then it switches from “get” to “purchased” but doesn’t do anything. When I close and reopen the AppStore, it’s back on “get.”
