This is the worst company in Europe for sure. I bought a tichet for my uncle and he could not retrieve the booking from his accout to check in. And I could not check him in as i do not have his passport with me. The app just did not open his booking. Staff it is always like that and they can’t do anything. So they took 55eu just to pront out a paper. Greedy
It is very annoying that you ask for baggage multiple Times and for the same type of baggage. I find it manipulative and a confusing way to create chaos for passengers and trick them into buying more luggage albeit accidentally !
One should not have to be obligated to download an app. Check in should be available online
They charge you for every little thing. English descriptions are difficult to understand so we bought the wrong kind of ticket. Had to pay over 100E for the right size luggage to be checked. Argh. Frustrating and just when you want to relax on vacation.
2h50 min last minute delay on a flight from Madrid to Edinburgh. Zero compensation monetarily — not even a ‘sorry’. 4 days later, on the return trip Edinburg-Madrid, we experience a 3h03 min delay — getting us into madrid at 3:08am instead of 12:05am … on a Sunday. There is supposedly a rule that if the delay is greater than 3 hours, the passenger is rightly entitled to compensation for suffering and the airline not holding up their end of the bargain (transporting a paying passenger within a given time frame). Again, I do not think there was a SORRY said by the cabin or crew, who did everything they could to herd us like animals us onto the on-ramp and into the plane as soon as possible —- even when the plane wasn’t there in an attempt to get us in before the three hour mark. Our claim was immediately labeled as “due to the weather, which is out of Ryanair’s control”. The weather, which was brisk and cloudy but with no storms. Excuse me? Arriving on a Sunday at such a late hour is so heinous, especially after the inbound flight. An absolutely dehumanizing experience, twice in the span of two flights. People were Booing when we finally landed. Makes me feel sick to my stomach and is strongly off putting — this is not the way you treat people.
