★★★★★Oct 21, 2026

The app simply doesn't work. Both on my Smart TV and Firestick, neither works. And it's such a simple app to make. What's the issue? The favorites are in my account, on my phone and laptop, but not on the TV. Progress doesn't appear, nothing works. It constantly says internet is a problem even though the TV runs on internet. As others have mentioned, even though I love Opera, I get no response from support. It seems I'll have cancel. I hope that progress will bring the Met up to 2026.

★★★★★Aug 11, 2026

You should release a version of the app that is compatible with the Google TV Streamer. When using the app to Chromecast, it loses connection after about five minutes. The opera continues playing, but I can no longer control it from within the Met Opera app or follow along with the track listing. I love the selection and video quality, however. And using captioning when casting works better than it used to. Please make a version for Google TV Streamer!

★★★★★Jun 7, 2026

Great operas, unbelievably awful app.

★★★★★May 25, 2026

I signed up for an account and installed the app on my phone and my Samsung smart tv. I can log into the phone app but that's about all. When I try to log in on the TV app, it keeps telling me I'm entering the wrong information. So it looks like I won't be subscribing. Which is unfortunate because I was really looking forward to watching some good opera.

★★★★★Mar 24, 2026

Great content, shame about the app. The app frequently freezes, has long loading times, could do with a better filter & overall needs a refresh. Oh & it looks awful on a tablet. Love the content though! Edit: why all of a sudden does the 24 hour audio stream now stop between operas? It used to run continuously & there are no autoplay settings to change this. Also, now it stops playing when the screen goes off or if I use the sleep/wake cover on the tablet. Needs fixing.

★★★★★Mar 21, 2026

I'd like to download an opera for a long flight tomorrow. I have a current subscription. I can't figure out how to at all. Lame!
