★★★★★ I signed up for an account and installed the app on my phone and my Samsung smart tv.
★★★★★ Everytime I open up the app and log in (because I never close the app while logged in because I know how finnicky it can be) and then try to resume a recording I'm in the process of listening to, it closes the app…
★★★★★ The content is great, but the app does not seem to be being maintained (last update 2018), gives warnings when starting on Android 11, and will not let me login anymore (although I can on the web).

★★★★★ But now search is broken.
★★★★★ This app is extremely unstable, does not work with older Android versions.
★★★★★ Unfortunately, Android version does not work.

★★★★★ I don't know if anyone else is having the same problem on an Android, but, like someone else said, this is a paid subscription.
★★★★★ This is a subscription-paid app.

★★★★★ I literally can't believe there was a new version released that is even worse in every way.
★★★★★ Understand that new version is due Feb 21.
★★★★★ Hasn't been updated for over two years and not compatible with Google TV.

★★★★★ Actually worried the next version may not even support audio, lol.
★★★★★ Needs to support Chromecast.
★★★★★ no explanation and no support.

★★★★★ As a Dutchman, I want to pay using iDeal or Google Play - I don't have a credit card nor am I eligible for one.
★★★★★ Other services offer time limited downloads which works for us because at our local office, I have high speed internet and can download things to then playback on our TV at home.
★★★★★ They don't seem to have a problem taking payments from my credit card but they do have a problem delivering the service I'm paying for.
3 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.
★★★★★ The app frequently freezes, has long loading times, could do with a better filter & overall needs a refresh.
★★★★★ Searching also returns Faust too, but the app crashes as soon as I press play on the audio version.
★★★★★ Bad app, crashes, send back to website for no reason...

★★★★★ Streamed to my TV easily and enjoyed the high quality video and audio.
★★★★★ I would love if it worked on Android TV; I have to hook up an Android tablet to the TV in order to enjoy it on the biggest screen with good sound.
★★★★★ Excellent app, certainly enjoyable and well educational.

You should release a version of the app that is compatible with the Google TV Streamer. When using the app to Chromecast, it loses connection after about five minutes. The opera continues playing, but I can no longer control it from within the Met Opera app or follow along with the track listing. I love the selection and video quality, however. And using captioning when casting works better than it used to. Please make a version for Google TV Streamer!
Great operas, unbelievably awful app.
I signed up for an account and installed the app on my phone and my Samsung smart tv. I can log into the phone app but that's about all. When I try to log in on the TV app, it keeps telling me I'm entering the wrong information. So it looks like I won't be subscribing. Which is unfortunate because I was really looking forward to watching some good opera.
Great content, shame about the app. The app frequently freezes, has long loading times, could do with a better filter & overall needs a refresh. Oh & it looks awful on a tablet. Love the content though! Edit: why all of a sudden does the 24 hour audio stream now stop between operas? It used to run continuously & there are no autoplay settings to change this. Also, now it stops playing when the screen goes off or if I use the sleep/wake cover on the tablet. Needs fixing.
I'd like to download an opera for a long flight tomorrow. I have a current subscription. I can't figure out how to at all. Lame!
Excellent
