WHAT THEY ASK FOR
  • I have three suggestions 1 on the home screen I'd prefer to be able to customize it, and in my case show humidity instead of barometric pressure 2 in the rainfall history it would be nice if the intensity bars changed… 5★, Oct 11, 2026
  • It should have the option to see the temperature or pressure or other stats changes throughout the day as far as history. 5★, Oct 9, 2026
  • for aesthetics, I would add the degree symbol to the ongoing status bar icon but I'll take this if it means the icon is larger. 5★, Oct 5, 2026
  • Please add widgets that are useful like current updated weather info and alerts. 1★, Sep 28, 2026
  • one thing that could be improved, I have it in landscape mode with standard full screen view, there is a lot of wasted space on the upper left section that has the cloud/sun and temp display, it would be nice to make… 5★, Sep 22, 2026
  • would be nice to be able to select any range of time (not just a week, etc) to see things like rainfall, etc 5★, Aug 11, 2026
  • Please add a widget that's the same as the top tile in the app! 4★, Jun 24, 2026
  • (custom background colors for the widgets would be great, too) 4★, Jun 24, 2026

★★★★★ it was very easy to connect with my internet, and the ease of app functionality is really simple and user-friendly.
★★★★★ Easy to operate and your station stays on top showing you current weather conditions.
Accurate, great results12%

35 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ I have had this for about 2 months and find it to be accurate, including comparing to a rain gauge next to it.
★★★★★ In high-humidity areas, dew point provides a far more accurate representation of atmospheric comfort than relative humidity, making it a critical metric for historical analysis.
★★★★★ The app works well with the Tempest weather station.
Great support7%

21 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ Technical support responded with 12 hours to a technical issue with the app.
★★★★★ Developer responded with fix quickly.
★★★★★ Customer service is excellent.
Looks great5%

14 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ the only way I could be happier with this would be if the physical weather station was free and for me to have full creative control of the design of the app 😁 but apart from those, this is an AWESOME weather station!
★★★★★ The app performs well overall, but the user interface is due for a visual update to move past the current dual-tone scheme.
★★★★★ The app is clean, easy to understand, and has everything you need to see, all in real time.
Useful, it helps4%

10 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ Useful UI and helpful information that is easy to find.
★★★★★ Has a good UI and provides useful information.
★★★★★ Doesn't get 5 stars because the graphs don't have useful auto-range for the scale and the 4x4 weather widget has broken sunrise/sunset times.

I have had this for about 2 months and find it to be accurate, including comparing to a rain gauge next to it. I have three suggestions 1 on the home screen I'd prefer to be able to customize it, and in my case show humidity instead of barometric pressure 2 in the rainfall history it would be nice if the intensity bars changed color like the typical green (light rain) through to orange (heavy rain) you see on radar maps 3 it would be nice if it had a direct integration to Google home.

★★★★★Oct 9, 2026

It is stable and no real issues. The problem is that it is too basic. It should have the option to see the temperature or pressure or other stats changes throughout the day as far as history. example is if I want to see the temperature from yesterday I go to history and it shows the high and the low amd the average, but if I want to know how the temps changed hourly it isn't available. true weather nerds don't like the lack of information. I'm one of them. I stand corrected. great app

★★★★★Oct 8, 2026

Web site down, again! Temperatures, wind speed and rain measurements wildly off. Do not waste your money, wish I hadn't.

★★★★★Oct 5, 2026

update 10/05/26: needs to tell you when it's offline. the only way I could be happier with this would be if the physical weather station was free and for me to have full creative control of the design of the app 😁 but apart from those, this is an AWESOME weather station! I love it! the app seems great and has exactly what I wanted from a weather app! for aesthetics, I would add the degree symbol to the ongoing status bar icon but I'll take this if it means the icon is larger. Great product!

★★★★★Oct 2, 2026

I was an original backer. Since it's inception, I've replaced my Tempest for the 6th time. Why? Why does it fail so often? I received my latest replacement and it is connected. Finally. The customer service is lacking (quality or quantity) ..... especially if they have over 1000 'open tickets' and it tags over 24 hours to respond to a customer? Maybe? Anyway, I'm on-line (again). I'll see how long it takes for them to "merge" my weather data so I don't lose any historical information.

★★★★★Sep 30, 2026

Just a very poor app. Cannot set defaults when starting, like rain rate instead of rain. No transparency on maps so weather obscures map locations. Lightning screen stops being scrollable when resized. just bug after bug.
