It does scan real time which is nice. However after downloading a connecting I instantly had a Google security breach and had to change passwords and add extra layers of authentication. I think this app may be a cover for potential identity theft. The security breach was from a device I do not own. Don't let the developer gas light you into saying I'm a bot. Real person real security breach right after connecting to the app with my info.

works perfectly on the pc but on the phone the screen stays black i got the newest phone i mean the whatnot scanner gives a black screen. Update: it works if i log in through the website but not the app

Really useful app if you buy cards often. I use it mostly to check comps and track my collection, and the live scanner is great when I’m watching Whatnot streams. Makes it much easier to know what a card is actually worth before buying.

I paid for the subscription to find that the scanner works, but only if you open whatnot inside of the card index app (you can't run inside whatnot). the scanner is slow but it does recognize some cards. I found that as soon as I typed my info into the app I had a Google security breach and had to change my Google password. not sure if this app is a scam or just really bad.
