HOW SURE ARE WE
Not in any grossing chart, so this comes from ratings growth (18 new ratings a month on average since launch): revenue grows with new ratings, more slowly for apps that collect ratings fast. Tested on 418 apps with verified revenue: typically off by about 2 times, and big earners tend to come out low. Countries we don't track (and Google Play in China, which doesn't exist) aren't included, and neither are ads or web payments. Gross revenue before store fees.

Buggy

App closes the timer if the phone idles or you love to another app. No other training app I’ve used does that. Should have a timer on screen so you don’t have to sit there staring at the bottom of the app.

Horrible will not use

I have an access code I put it in my training and the program doesn’t pop up then ai just giving me the run around have me repeat things I already said I will not use this app for anything I’m just gonna take the program and write it down

★★★★★Sep 23, 2026
Same bugs for years

I’ve been using TH for years now and it seems like the same bugs have never been fixed. When you copy a day over, it randomly adds 10 sets to every workout. Most of the time, “swap exercise” doesn’t actually work; it just keeps the same exercise. You can’t rearrange exercises. Just a little frustrating that it seems the developers never really fix these issues.

★★★★★Sep 20, 2026
Coach’s App Crashes Constantly

I’ve been using this app to write & distribute programs for my 100+ powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting athletes for over 3.5 years. The support team has never implemented any of the requests I’ve submitted and, since the Garmin acquisition, the coach’s app crashes approximately every 90 seconds (I really wish this was an exaggeration but alas, ‘Tis the unfortunate truth). I have to tap on something about 20 times before the app responds and it will often just crash instead. Imagine running 1:1 personal training sessions where you log into the coach’s app to log the client’s workout and it crashes every 90 seconds. It won’t even stay open long enough to log the weights in the boxes. I’m actively looking for an alternative to TH due to how little tech support is provided and how awful the coaching app’s utility it is.

Best app ever

I’ve been working out for 3 years and I only have ever used this app. Best app ever! Never gives me any issues. Very convenient and never lags!

★★★★★Sep 8, 2026
Fix the lag and random shut downs

I’ve used this app for a long time with multiple programs. Even with the latest updates it has a frequent 10-15s lag where the app just freezes and in the middle of workouts it shuts down for no reason.
