・You can now match the app icon to your avatar. When you choose a different avatar in “Profile”, the icon on your Home Screen becomes that character too (turn this on or off with “Match the app icon to your avatar”). ・When you log in, what you recorded as a guest on this device can now be carried over to the account you’re logging into. ・While a reading companion is reading in their room, that room now appears first under “Open doors” on the “Rooms” screen, as “A reading companion’s room” (only when a seat is free). ・The “Reading companions” list now shows each person’s name instead of their room’s name. “End reading companionship” is now under “⋯”. ・In “Enter with a link”, you can now paste the invite link you received just as it is. ・In “Low-power mode” (◐), “Back to the room picture” now appears above “Quietly leave”. ・Fixed an issue where the app could close right after you left a room. ・Other small adjustments to display and behavior.

It is a place to let the time you spend with books accumulate quietly. In Korea, a trend called "text hip" has been spreading: enjoying the time spent reading, and sharing it. mekuru is a place to share that time — the middle of the reading itself — quietly, with someone else. OWNER (SUBSCRIPTION) The optional Owner plan is an auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly, that lets you furnish a room of your own and open it to your companions anytime. Registered accounts can try a one-time 14-day viewing first, no card required. In Japan the price is ¥580/month or ¥5,800/year; pricing for your region is always shown in the App Store before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account, and the subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
