Tested on 418 apps with verified revenue: typically off by about 2.6 times, so the range is wide. Countries we don't track (and Google Play in China, which doesn't exist) aren't included, and neither are ads or web payments. Gross revenue before store fees.

Price and subscription50%

21 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Said it was free then tried to charge $10!
★★★★★ When you try to send the fax there is no option to send for free, only to subscribe
★★★★★ Too expensive and not faxing my papers.
Bugs, things not working10%

4 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ I tried to fax a three page document. It only sent the first page, a page of nonsensical characters, then the last page. I tried three times. I wish I could get my 10 bucks back.
★★★★★ I took and saved perfect images of my documents, and as they were arranged to be faxed by the the fax app what appeared was zoomed in images of just the corner of the document - absolute trash
Too many ads7%

3 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ It's not free at all. Not worth $9.99 for one fax. They should not be allowed to advertise that it's free when it's not. And they don't even have a free trial period.
★★★★★ advertising said free (false advertisement) go to your local library spend the .25¢ per page much cheaper then spending 9.99 for a week especially when chances are you don't need to use it that often
★★★★★ Advertisement of free faxes.
Missing features7%

3 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ When you try to send the fax there is no option to send for free, only to subscribe
★★★★★ If this isn't resolved will dispute the purchase on my credit card for lack of service.
★★★★★ There is no option to even allow you to send one for free during a trial period.
Lost data, sync, backup5%

2 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ It'll show that it's deleted, you exit that page, check it again, it's right back there.
★★★★★ Tried to get a refund immediately but was denied by Apple, lost $9.99 to an app that can't Send or Receive.
Wrong or poor results5%

2 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Useless app that does not send your fax then makes it near impossible to cancel the subscription.
No customer support5%

2 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Continued to fax blank forms, even though I previewed them before sending, information was there, but the “delivered fax” was an empty form. Did that multiple times. The history does NOT permanently delete. It'll show…
★★★★★ I reached out via email for support multiple times with no response.
