So sad to give 1 star :(

I had seen this app a while back on social media and I was SO excited to get it myself. I got the iPhone 18 pro and I downloaded it yesterday. I also looked at other similar apps but this one has the cutest pets and the coolest other widgets. I think it’s VERY expensive for what it is but I wanted it so bad, I was considering it anyway. Luckily I got the free trial first. I am so sad to say that it doesn’t work very well. Whenever I close the app, the little guy at the top disappears. Also, I cannot interact with him. If I press feed or play it takes me back to the app and nothing else. If I want to interact with him at all, I need to use the widget. Which isn’t the worst but not what I wanted. Also, I have added him to my lock screen as a widget 4 times between yesterday and now and every time I put my phone down for a few hours he disappears again :(. Instead, he appears at the bottom like a notification. Which I do not like at all. If I try to remove that he disappears at the top again when my phone is unlocked. I think, given how crazy expensive it is, the bare minimum should be that it does what it promises. Very sad to say I will not be keeping my subscription because the idea is so cute :(

I had my pixel pal for 9 months and all my stats got reset randomly today. I had multiple morphs and different names for everything but it was all reset including my friends list, I’m never redownloading this again.

Pixel Pals includes a variety of animals for you to customize and enjoy: - Dog (named Rupert) - Cat (named Hugo) - Hedgehog (named Chortley) - Fox (named Finnegan) - Axolotl (named Mochi) - Otter (named Nugget) - Bat (named Fu-Fu) - Parrot (named Kiwi) - Tiger (named Herbert) - Platypus (named Penny) - Panda (named Poe) - Raccoon (named Oliver) - Butterfly (named Freya) - T-Rex (named Rory) - Bunny (named Thumper) - Red Panda (named Bao) - Pet Rock (named Dwayne) - Penguin (named Bubbles) You can also change any of the names!
