★★★★★ First they tried to make users SUBSCRIBE in order to save ANY video to the camera roll…but end users cried FOUL.
★★★★★ They changed from this app to the new subscription model which is ridiculous for those of us who paid for it long ago.
★★★★★ In order to use the app I paid for, I have to install the Filmic Pro app first (btw the new app is shamelessly expensive), and not just once!

★★★★★ They are forcing me and users to pay for this over and over and have lost me forever.

★★★★★ SCAM company alert. Do not trust these thieves for you will pay full price for a very expensive app and then they will steal your money and change the pricing model so you have to down load a downgraded messy awful app…

★★★★★ So they released LEGACY, said they would no longer support it, but then released “UPDATES” that actually killed core functionality to force people onto their V7 SUBSCRIPTION PLATFORM.
★★★★★ Both support HDMI through, which displays the camera app's controls in real time on an external screen without displaying them, and best of all, they are free!
★★★★★ It's not about being able to afford it even, but about a change that makes little sense for me as a consumer, and that I choose not to support.
13 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.
★★★★★ Instead of paying once and owning the app, now you have to pay monthly or yearly, which just doesn't feel worth it.
★★★★★ Now my access is limited or I can pay $1.99 a week....
★★★★★ Now when I open the app, I'm greeted with all the normal features locked unless I pay a subscription fee to unlock them.

★★★★★ It might be worth it to professionals or content creators, but I'm a casual user for personal purposes.
★★★★★ Maybe the real mistake was not to plan on years coming and the one-time price for the app was not the best way to go from the start, especially being so expensive (for an app), but to me it was worth it.
★★★★★ Even offered a year free of the subscription app, but I actually prefer the legacy version.

Looks like recording with Ext Mic has been disabled in one of the updates. Hope this is not a ploy to force us to upgrade even after paying for the original version which supported this feature. In particular, the record button doesn’t work when the Ext Mic is plugged in even though it is capturing sound, once disconnected the record button immediately works.
So even with the update, you expect that the audio works? It does except it doesn’t record the audio, even though it does appear to be. Why would you do this to legacy users? You’ve just updated the app two weeks ago and now you don’t seem to care about fixing it again even with those issues.
with the latest update (6.23.2) it‘s no longer possible to record sound! please fix! soon!
I’ve never seen an app owner get so greedy so quickly!! First they tried to make users SUBSCRIBE in order to save ANY video to the camera roll…but end users cried FOUL. So they released LEGACY, said they would no longer support it, but then released “UPDATES” that actually killed core functionality to force people onto their V7 SUBSCRIPTION PLATFORM. Sad. Really sad.
