★★★★★ They charged £40+ for this, they have now put everything behind a subscription.
★★★★★ Then the suits came in, added subscriptions.
★★★★★ Not worth any subscription now Black Magic Camera is available for free and so much better than this.
45 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.
★★★★★ 2025 Update - I still refuse to subscribe to this horrendous app due to the subscription modes it inflects onto people.

★★★★★ The time of FiLMiC Pro is gone
★★★★★ Sorry to lose it after so long but sorry, no way
★★★★★ It's a very disrespectful way to treat us customers who purchased the app few years ago. Now they are imposing the subscription. Thieving , dishonest and it's a robbery!
17 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.
★★★★★ Bought this app a time ago for full options, and now you have to pay for subscription😃 this company is a joke.
★★★★★ Very disappointing to come back to this app because I needed to do a simple manual camera tweak (the reason I bought it) and find that features I have already paid for are now locked behind a paywall.
★★★★★ Now all the pro features are locked out unless you pay for a subscription.
11 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.
★★★★★ Also see from version history there have been no features added in last 2-years just bug fixes.
★★★★★ Unfortunately, the link doesn't work.
★★★★★ Paid for the app couple of years ago, they then make it sub only, then make a filmic legacy version, then take away the legacy version and say you have to download through pro version, pro version link doesn't work,…

★★★★★ Nach 9 Monaten kein Support für 17 Pro Max.
★★★★★ Don't buy this and support a company that has only had profits in mind.
★★★★★ Contacted support five times over a year no one gets back to you.
9 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.
★★★★★ You can't even change the frame rate without the subscription.
★★★★★ This is so bad like I'd you go to selfie you can't change back to 1080p and you can't change quality and fps for free if it was free it would be a 3 maybe 4 stars!
★★★★★ Records the files as separate files with no option to have them together in the PIP mode as shown on screen.
4 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.
★★★★★ Although the app it's ok it's not opening without a internet connection! How stupid is that? So a thing about photography or videography and it just loads if you are in the comfort of a urban area! Completely waste…
★★★★★ Basically the app is useless to me now.
★★★★★ Bought this app a while ago because I thought it was good, but can't use it anymore due to the new costly subscription model which makes this app I paid money for absolutely useless!
6 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.
★★★★★ If you are just a casual user, probably best to get one of the free apps like Blackmagic but if you want quality, reliability and gimbal sync then this is the only serious option.
★★★★★ Although the BM app is free I shall be staying with Filmic
★★★★★ Nothing worth anything is free.
5 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.
★★★★★ Clever measures, it adds so many new ways to measure focus and quality that it's essential for good filming
★★★★★ If you are just a casual user, probably best to get one of the free apps like Blackmagic but if you want quality, reliability and gimbal sync then this is the only serious option.
★★★★★ But only filmic provided trud log quality on iphone and pixel precision for vfx shots.

Latest reviews, Germany App Store.
They charged £40+ for this, they have now put everything behind a subscription. You can’t even change the frame rate without the subscription. What a waste of money, they truly don’t care for their customers.
Was ein Scam. Aber mach einfach was hier steht.
