HOW SURE ARE WE
Small app: combines its grossing ranks with ratings growth (306 new ratings a month on average since launch). Tested on 418 apps with verified revenue: typically off by about 2.6 times, so the range is wide. Countries we don't track (and Google Play in China, which doesn't exist) aren't included, and neither are ads or web payments. Gross revenue before store fees.

WHAT THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT · SHARE OF BAD REVIEWS
Price and subscription20%

6 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ I signed up for a trial and immediately got billed for an annual subscription.
★★★★★ After updating, I'm now blocked from connecting to any of my machines and I'm being forced to pay for a subscription.
★★★★★ Agent forwarding is a subscription feature in a pesos program.
Login and account problems20%

6 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Requires login to terminus to use locally
★★★★★ This requires creating an account registration to do anything whatsoever.
★★★★★ use xTerminal instead, they don't monitor your commands in terminal and don't require telemetry scraping login credentials.
Wrong or poor results13%

4 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ The AI feature is among the most useless, most poorly conceived features I have ever seen in any mobile app.
★★★★★ Really disappointed with the latest change where it added a textbox to ask AI to generate command. No, I don't need AI to write commands for me. Even worse, there's no option to disable or hide them and it's eating up…
★★★★★ what was the point of adding this useless space wasting thing into every window???
Bugs, things not working10%

3 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Port forwarding has been broken for weeks… hard to love it any more.
★★★★★ I can use an ssh key to log in from a desktop, but Termius fails completely.
★★★★★ Also Japanese input (even w/o external keyboard) is too buggy.
Lost data, sync, backup7%

2 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ The amount of times I've spent 10+ minutes typing into that box only to lose all the text I typed on submit is ridiculous.
Missing features7%

2 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Beware this app is a stupid subscription model with no option to buy the app outright.
★★★★★ Even worse, there's no option to disable or hide them and it's eating up space of the terminal.
WHAT THEY ASK FOR
  • Please allow me to fully disable the ai prompt. 1★, Oct 14, 2026

  • Can you add a copy all button to the terminal history? 4★, Aug 18, 2026
  • Only issue is I wish there was a progress bar, or even a full-on "transfer manager" for the SFTP client. 5★, Jul 27, 2026
  • Does exactly what I need and doesn't bother me with subscriptions or any pop ups or adds 5★, Jul 10, 2026
  • No, I don't need AI to write commands for me. 1★, Sep 3, 2025
  • I am wondering if it is possible to add the support for USB security keys to log in to remote hosts with. 5★, Sep 26, 2022
  • It's very good, but it would be better if you could bring the tabs to the top instead of switching between them. 4★, Jan 18, 2022

Bottom sheet gets stuck and wouldn't go down!

The pro tier bottom sheets and the AI sheet, once toggled and popped open, WOULD NOT GO DOWN. This is making the app completely useless.
