HOW SURE ARE WE
Small app: combines its grossing ranks with ratings growth (603 new ratings a month on average since launch). Tested on 418 apps with verified revenue: typically off by about 2.6 times, so the range is wide. Countries we don't track (and Google Play in China, which doesn't exist) aren't included, and neither are ads or web payments. Gross revenue before store fees.

WHAT THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT · SHARE OF BAD REVIEWS
Too many ads16%

5 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Not only shows lots of adverts, but jumps right over to itunes store and will not allow you to change channels before it jumps off on its own.
★★★★★ For me a paid app should not have adverts, there is an option to hide but they appear again within seconds!
★★★★★ This is pretty bad, it loads only one radio station as far as I can see, no police stations and the ads can make the app crash.
Wrong or poor results16%

5 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Useful for a yank, useless for a limey.
★★★★★ I think it I fake because I went on USA and it was a woman ad a man talking so I went on to England and it was the same man and woman as in the USA same voice ad talking together as the same so don't buy this app it is…
★★★★★ This app doesn't even work. You can use norm radio stations but why would we want that? The police ones don't even work nothing else does. Waste of time.
Crashes and freezes6%

2 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ This was a great app for listening to various radio stations all over the world, but, after last OS upgrade, it keeps crashing - please fix 😄 Why is Apple allowing apps to have this power?
★★★★★ This is pretty bad, it loads only one radio station as far as I can see, no police stations and the ads can make the app crash.
Bugs, things not working6%

2 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Scanner isn't working look like a server fault.
Lost data, sync, backup6%

2 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ (We were youngish!) The police forces scrambled their frequencies one at a time so we could move area or put a bigger aerial up and change areas until they'd all gone and all we had left was parking up at East Midlands…
Worse after an update6%

2 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ I live in the UK but not in Kent Wiltshire or Essex but in the midlands, Northampton to b exact so I'll keep the app for now and wait for an update.
★★★★★ Since the latest up date cannot open the App at all ISO 8

Accurate, great results6%

5 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ Works great for listening into the US channels and many many more and for people saying they can't hear the UK ones or there isn't any UK ones, that's because the UK use digital frequencies.
★★★★★ Works great been listening a lot.
★★★★★ This application works great and completely satisfying myself.
Fun, addictive6%

5 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ Really enjoy listening in to this app, however, the main one I listened to was the Chicago police department and this appears to have disappeared from the app.
