Poor Customer Service

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Customer service is nonexistent. Had a delivery driver not follow pretty simple delivery instructions and falsely claim they attempted to contact me (could’ve contacted me through the buzzer on the front door of the building like the instructions stated but chose not to, I guess). When I opened a ticket with Lieferando they provided no answers to any questions like “How did they attempt to contact me?”, said they could not refund over €50 worth of food and stated that decision was “Final”. Although delivery apps are convenient, this one will take your money and with baseless claims keep it when food is not delivered. I recommend using literally any other app or just picking it up yourself as either the delivery people and/or the company itself cannot be trusted.

Misleading delivery times, terrible service

I placed an order on a normal Tuesday night from a restaurant 15 minutes away. The system first showed eta 6:45. Ten minutes later it was 7:10. Ten later it was 7:20. I contacted costumer service through the app and they told me to wait patiently. That they couldn’t contact the restaurant but it will surely come. When the app showed 7:55 eta I decided to call the restaurant. They picked up immediately. The food had been ready since 6:40. It was cold and no one had picked it up. The only thing they could offer was to cancel. Not even a sorry. They then emailed me a 10% discount for a next order. As if I would ever use this system again. An embarrassment of a system.
