often frustrating in DCyet again, the movie this week is only available to watch in *fairfax*—an hour and a half one way by public transportation. especially frustrating when there’s not actually a new movie every week (sometimes it’s the same film for three weeks or more), and somehow every single time i actually get to the theater the clerk has never heard of mubi go or how to process the ticket. it’s a great premise, but really underdelivers in DC.

Great appLoving this! The only downside is not being able to see all upcoming movies. Sometimes I'm going to the kino, only to discover a couple weeks later that the movie is also going to play on Mubi Go, and that I could have just waited a little bit. Other than this, I'm pretty hooked!

Movies for MUBI GO haven't been available in Indianapolis for nearly 3 monthsI enjoyed it at first, but then movies stopped becoming available. For the past 2 1/2 months I've been checking every week, and still nothing. I reached out to MUBI support. They try assisting at first, but couldn't resolve the issue, and did give me a free extension on my annual subscription. Then they literally told me that I might want to consider the basic subscription when it's time for me to renew!

Films not accessible although screened in MUBI cinemasI can no longer recommend MUBI Go.
The service is advertised as offering a new cinema film every week, yet I have repeatedly experienced situations where films are marked as “not available at your location” despite being shown at participating cinemas nearby. This has happened more than once, making it difficult to rely on the service for the very purpose it is sold for.
What is even more frustrating is the lack of clear and consistent communication from customer support. When I raised the issue, I received explanations that did not match the information displayed in the app. Instead of resolving the problem, the responses created even more confusion.
I purchased an annual subscription expecting a premium, curated cinema experience. Instead, I have repeatedly been unable to access films that should have been available to me. For a service built around a weekly cinema ticket, this is a serious failure.
While the streaming catalogue may appeal to some users, my experience with MUBI Go has been disappointing and unreliable. Based on my experience, I would not renew my subscription and cannot recommend MUBI Go to anyone looking for a dependable cinema membership.
