Disappointing app experience

The UX of this app is terrible. I am prompted to start a bedtime routine, I then select a cue but don’t want an additional 50min unwind routine and it won’t work. Also why does a wind down routine need to be 50+ min? And why can’t I adjust my wind down routine to be shorter in the moment or play my cue / wind down before it’s scheduled (button doesnt start my cue it starts my sleep music). I’ve googled support and sent in app feedback with no reply. I purchased this device to create a bedtime routine and improve my sleep health by keeping my phone out of the bed, but attempting to do so in this app is so infuriating - not clear nor customizable - I’m about to return it and get a simple Bluetooth speaker to use my phone alarms and play ocean sounds without a subscription fee. Also, you can’t search sounds by subscription type which is also annoying. Please fix this!

Terrible UI, annoying CONSTANT push for Hatch+

I don’t understand this user interface. In order to access any of the actual lights, sounds, or music, I have to click through so many pages on the app. It’s all way too spread out. What irritates me is the highlights page: I’ll see a recommended light/sound combo but can’t enable it from there. I can only add it to my “favorites”, which is numerous screens, touches and swipes away. I can’t preview or enable it from the original screen. It’s super frustrating. There’s also entire menus of options placed right in the middle of all the other menus/screens that I can’t even use because it’s for hatch+ only. I understand there’s a premium version, but I purchased this without the need to buy more into it and I certainly won’t, seeing how limited the sound options are for “free” users. I have a HomePod that sits right next to it that plays literally anything without the need to sign up for a “premium” account - I don’t know why I bought this Hatch. I’m actually consider returning this thing because of the push for the hatch+, lack of “free” sounds, and this garbage interface.

Turns off sound when you turn off light :(

Seems handy to have an app to control your baby's sound machine from anywhere - however, multiple times I have turned down the light on my hatch baby and it has turned down the sound as well even though you can only turn one down ag a time. Wakes my baby up and is not helpful. I would rather have spent less money on a sound machine and not have an app.
