I’ve been a subscriber for years and really value the expat-focused information The Local provides. My only frustration is around the app not recognizing my subscription multiple times per year, I have to go through multiple login attempts, reloading the app, etc.

Too many incidences of leftist influence on how articles are published when cross-checked over an array of other sources. They also sanitize and will refuse to publish comments that might offend someone simply because the viewpoint doesn’t toe the line with Editorial staff’s world view. Not a very mature publication.
I like the news, but this app keeps asking me to accept the cookies, like every 5 seconds even if I accept them. Makes the app unusable. Very frustrating.
