What is Simple Music Player? An offline music player for Android that plays songs stored on your device. Browse your collection by song, artist, album, or folder, then choose what to hear. Keep local music organized with playlists and search, whether you are listening at home, commuting, or heading out for a walk. Who is Simple Music Player for?Use it if you already have a music collection on your phone or SD card and want to listen without streaming your songs. An offline music player is useful when your connection is unavailable or you prefer to play files you have saved. Browse an album for a listening session, build a playlist for exercise, or find a specific recording with search. Adjustable playback speed also helps when you want to slow a track for practice or listen at a different pace. What does Simple Music Player do? • Browse your music library: view songs, artists, albums, and folders to find tracks in the way that suits your collection. • Manage playlists: create lists for different moods or activities, then add or remove songs as your listening changes. • Search your collection: find a saved track without scrolling through every album or folder. • Choose how songs play: listen in sequence, turn on shuffle, repeat a song, or skip to another track. • Adjust playback speed: change the pace to suit your listening or practice session. • Use gapless playback: keep consecutive tracks flowing during album listening. • Edit song details: change labels such as track names and artist information to make your collection easier to recognize. • Control playback through a widget or supported headphone and hardware buttons, with accessory support depending on your device and controls. How does Simple Music Player work?Allow access to music and audio files on your device so the app can find your songs, display your music library, and play local music. Browse by song, artist, album, or folder and select a track to start listening. Create a playlist for the tracks you want together. Add songs, remove entries you no longer need, and choose sequential playback or shuffle. Use repeat when you want to hear a track again, and adjust the speed when a different pace suits the moment. Gapless playback supports continuous listening across consecutive tracks, while the widget gives you another way to control the music. Compatibility and requirementsDesigned for Android and audio files stored on your device. Access to those files is needed to find and play your collection. Music on an SD card must be accessible to the app on your device. Playing saved audio files does not require an internet connection. This applies to local playback rather than every feature or service in the app. The app contains ads and offers in-app purchases. Simple Music Player brings your saved songs, albums, and playlists together so you can find a track and listen at your own pace.
