★★★★★ Dissapointed with the new version.
★★★★★ All my guidebooks are gone since the update.
★★★★★ All 3 books with codes, which i legally paid, are now dissapeared after update!!!

★★★★★ Expensive subscription, and expensive books.
★★★★★ They now offer me some gold subscription which doesnt work neither...
★★★★★ Everything is in German, the guides section is as expensive as the physical books are, and the only usable component of the app is the GPS function on an outdoor map.

2 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Great that it is now in English, but it has lost some functionality: Tour numbers are gone, but references inside description are still with number.

★★★★★Oct 17, 2026

Uses too much battery, navigation bad and not flexible. Quality of maps and trips so so. Expensive subscription, and expensive books. Take freeware and use your head, much cheaper and hassle free.

★★★★★Sep 1, 2026

★★★★★Apr 26, 2026

Impractical and unintuitive in use. You have to unpack each tour gpx of a book with 60 tours individually to make them available in the app. I'd rather use the paper version and then find a tour on a different app.

★★★★★Apr 25, 2026

Revised review based on feedback from devs: after adding the book to the app, it works as expected. In the book itself, it does not mention that option (only that I can download and import the tracks).

★★★★★Feb 3, 2026

Updating my previous review. After contact from the app developers it was clarified that the app works in conjunction with the book - if you know how/where to "unlock" it. That is not clearly stated anywhere, I guess the younger generation would probably not have had any trouble with it. However, a better description in the book, or a "hint" when trying to open a locked hike on the map, would possibly be a good idea.

★★★★★Jul 16, 2025

So far many tours are missing in the gold version. For example in France, the tours in Normandy, the Loire Valley, Burgundy or Ile de France are all missing. You will find Brittany or Northern France, but not those four. So I'm guessing it's gonna be the same for other countries, and a big percentage of the tours you see in books are still missing. I guess they will be adding them progressively, but they should tell you beforehand... Also the map zooming is very slow and buggy...
