Actually it works but there seems to be steps for it. I have to open Volume Control first and open my music app. I am not sure if it's true but somehow Volume Control stopped working completely and it was fixed after restarting my phone.
bahut achcha app hai
It's free compared to some of the other apps. I use this especially at night when I'm winding down to go to sleep, it makes my videos so much quieter. Definitely recommend.
