The app doesn't sync at all despite have syncs and storage left. Customer care team is completely unresponsive.

Crashes constantly. Either fix it or shut it down. They even have the nerve to charge money to remove ads but in the fine print mention ads may still show up.

*** 10-2026 update: as someone who uses this app on the daily, the new update has totally destroyed the interface. I do not want AI in my notepad ink pad! everything is bogged down, nothing moves fluidly, and I can't even search through my notes like I used to just using a simple text-based search. how very frustrating. now I have to find a way to copy all of my notes onto a different app and This linked-up & synced-up notepad is the easiest to use. As a writer I find this app irreplaceable.

This app has gotten more and more cluttered and busy (with AI too). You can bckup your notes thru their website using a sync function, or a difficult to find export function that only exports away (email/share). Now it's been pulling up older files from nowhere, and dissapearing other files that I've used and added to for years. There's no way to recover them because the website only reflects what is on (or not on) my phone. I also hate that the only login options online are through 3rd parties.

now that this app is bloated with an AI assistant it is useless. what used to be a fantastic simple program is now limiting you to 20 searches a month? I used to use this thing like crazy when I needed to. there's simply no way to turn off the AI and go back to the cool old program! it is shameful to take such a simple and helpful program and turn it into subscription based PS shame on you people!
