Store description
Noiroku is a murder sudoku. Instead of numbers, you place suspects on the map of a crime scene. Read the statements, cross-reference the clues, and work out who was left alone with the victim.
The rule fits in one sentence: no two people ever share a row or a column. Every suspect left a truthful statement — "I was next to the piano", "I was between the fireplace and the bookshelf", "I was the only person in the library". Find where each one stood and the case closes itself. There is no accuse button: whoever is left beside the victim is the murderer.
If you have solved murdokus on paper, this is the same deduction — with the floor plan drawn for you, the X marks kept, and an undo the pencil never had.
🔍 PURE DEDUCTION — YOU NEVER HAVE TO GUESS
Every case has exactly one solution, and you can reach it by reasoning alone. That is not a marketing line: all 80 cases go through a battery of automated proofs before they ship. One solution, every clue true on the board, every object a clue mentions actually drawn on the map, every room labeled. You will never get stuck because the puzzle was wrong.
🗺️ 80 CASES, 80 CRIME SCENES
Start in a 6×6 house with four people and work your way up to 12×10 boards with ten. Along the way: a theater, a museum, a train, a ship, a hospital, a subway, a castle, a circus, a racecourse, a polar station, a speedway, a casino, an aquarium, a stadium and many more. Every scene has its own furniture, and the furniture is what the clues read.
🧠 THE GAME TEACHES BEFORE IT ASKS
Before every new case, the game opens the cards for what you are about to need: 36 clue concepts — "next to", "between A and B", "in front of a window" — and 12 technique cards, from crossing out rows and columns to naked pairs, pointing and exact cover. The concepts stay in the glossary, one tap away at any time. No case ever demands a reading the game has not shown you first.
☕ BUILT FOR THINKING SLOWLY

🏆 WHEN THE CASE CLOSES
With everyone in place, the culprit is stamped GUILTY and the clock stops. Beat your own record and the game says so. You also get a case card to share — with an empty board, so it spoils nothing for whoever has not played it yet.
▶️ HOW TO PLAY
1. Read what each suspect says.
2. Drag them to the cell the clues allow.
3. Mark X on the cells you have ruled out.
4. When everyone is in place, the culprit reveals itself.
