App refuses to open without internet connection. I have several thermometers at home, in every room, they are connected to the App by Bluetooth, I set them up. I know. Yet, app refuses to open unless it's connected to the internet. Function of uploading the readings data is not the requirement for the app to open up. That comes later, whenever internet is available. So only reason is to download an advert first. This opens possibility of malware. Offer a paid app please.

One of the most infuriating security apps I have used. It refuses to connect to the network. I have used Ring, Tapo, and a half dozen others and never had this kind of trouble. The camera is going back.

App has become unreliable. Furthermore, this move to require apps for the devices we purchase has, so far, been a failure for consumers. Broken devices caused by bad apps become unnecessary negative events in our lives. Yet, every time we open the app to check if a previous issue was resolved, you see an ad, so they still get paid. No amount of 1-star reviews will change this behavior. If we are to remedy this failed experiment, it will require legislation. ALL device apps should be open source.
