★★★★★ Navigation and organization is not difficult, the ads do not intrude excessively ( no more than average for free apps!), so this is a very useful way to get some local news at no cost, and should encourage some users…
★★★★★ An ad free version and would be nice.

This is a horrible app. When I use the app, the comics page (and others) don't work. Also, if you are on a page then go to "contents" the app does not take you back to near the page you were reading. I seem to be able to do both of these if I access my subscription without the app.
not working
Not updated frequently. Paying to have digital access is a complete waste.
This app is clunky and there is no easy way to contact anyone when there are problems. It might be better not just access the newspaper through a web browser if that is possible.
Does not work in tablet mode. Tries to load then crashes. Has a disclaimer to contact the developer
Crashes constantly. Can't save text size settings or run in dark mode. It seems my previous review was removed. Just want to warn people that this app is awful. Read the E Edition in a browser and you'll be much happier. I tried to use the app with other McClatchy sites and it's the same for all of them.
