HOW SURE ARE WE
Not in any grossing chart, so this comes from ratings growth (9.0 new ratings a month on average since launch): revenue grows with new ratings, more slowly for apps that collect ratings fast. Tested on 418 apps with verified revenue: typically off by about 2 times, and big earners tend to come out low. Countries we don't track (and Google Play in China, which doesn't exist) aren't included, and neither are ads or web payments. Gross revenue before store fees.

★★★★★Oct 2, 2026

This company will triple your monthly rate without telling you. McClatchy Media Company (which owns TNTribune) is nothing better than a fraud company. Too bad local news doesn't exist anymore. FRAUD AND SCAM!

★★★★★Aug 7, 2026

Provides great local news and event information. Also gives national news feed. I check it every day. Plus daily comics to reduce my stress

★★★★★Jul 20, 2026

Excellent!

★★★★★Jul 20, 2026

app won't update, been stuck for some time now. Also it was installed as a system app, and it ignores notifications settings. I spend a lot of money for print and digital subscriptions, only to have a digital version unable to update, and the printed paper that doesn't always make it to my mailbox.

★★★★★Jul 9, 2026

I guess if you just want to read the paper online, it's adequate. Still a little glitchy even then. The "extras" they added are pretty much a joke, at least with a Kindle. The blogs are in a font that is so tiny, it's impossible to read, and the font size slider does nothing. Like I said, if you just want to read the daily fishwrap, it works O.K. Edit-7/9/26 Latest update has placed Google ads at the bottom of the screen, blocking 2 lines of text. I've removed 2 more stars from my review.

★★★★★Jul 9, 2026

When it works, it's great. But nearly every day, I have to reboot and lately even uninstall and reinstall DAILY. It's not the device, because the NYT works fine. This is a paid subscription, and it is getting very tiresome. Update: and now, the ads are covering the bottom of the screen so that I can't read the last line of any column. Looks like I can turn off the personalization, but not stop them. UGH
