WHAT THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT · SHARE OF BAD REVIEWS
Crashes and freezes24%

21 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ The app crashes repeatedly.
★★★★★ Crashing when you try to get results of a workout.
★★★★★ Crashes after entering a password and clicking on a date of birth field.
Wrong or poor results16%

14 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Garbage - crashes constantly- the rowing machines are useless for anything other that dumb sweaty cardio and this app is the only thing that supposedly supports interval training - but it is garbage
★★★★★ I always thought Technogym was the cheaper alternative to concept, looks like I was totally wrong!
★★★★★ I would give it zero if possible, my gym has installed 2 Skillrow machines, but app is useless.
Bugs, things not working15%

13 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Also has constant bugs, which means difficulty logging in and does not save erg data.
★★★★★ Has always been unreliable, now it's just broken.
★★★★★ (strava, connect, etc.) Is it bug or just bad strategy?
Login and account problems9%

8 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Can't even create an account.
★★★★★ Crashes on signup screen!
★★★★★ First it was crashing every time I tried to create an account - specifically when entering date of birth.
Lost data, sync, backup6%

5 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ however, the activities do not sync to Strava (unlike other technogym equipment) and you can't even view them in the app
★★★★★ Used to work, now it turned usless video app., before i could connect ro rowing machine, now where is wkrkout option, just row option disappeared, please fix it, will change rating when it will work again..
★★★★★ Well, during my 10000m row, the connection was lost at 875m (after completing the row I confirmed that there was a data connection & Bluetooth was on) so most of my row wasn't recorded.
Worse after an update5%

4 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ It was working for a couple years (not always connecting to the rower though) and since the last Samsung update it just crashes immediately when opened.
★★★★★ The update before was bad but this one is awful.
★★★★★ This used to work untill the recent update.
Price and subscription3%

3 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Big oversight from the developers for such an expensive bit of kit.
★★★★★ Several times the price of the concept2, but slightly lower quality.
★★★★★ They sell Rowing machine for £3400 but can't invest money in good app.
Slow, laggy, battery3%

3 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ to record activities, ensure phone has disabled battery optimisation for this app.
★★★★★ Eventually got round that problem by creating account in separate mywellness app but even once I fixed that issue this app gets stuck with a perpetual loading icon on the main tab and won't let me do anything.
★★★★★ It looks like something crashes when loading the periodical challenge.
WHAT THEY ASK FOR
  • Rowing works well, but every time I try to set a pace, or add a pace boat, the app crashes. 2★, Jan 4, 2025
  • You can keep the app from stopping if you keep rowing in 'active rest' but that doesn't suit most sessions - you need to turn the awkward dial to lower resistance and sometimes you just need actual rest between… 1★, Feb 21, 2023
  • I just can't add a profile picture even though it's a very small file. 1★, Dec 29, 2022
  • It would be nice if at intervals it would be an option to show you average pace without including the pause (when doing 15reps.intervals with rest in between). 5★, Jun 10, 2020
  • I wish the gym would go back to concept 2 rowers. 1★, Jan 2, 2019
  • Needs a lot of work. 2★, Aug 30, 2017

Not really tech!

★★★★★Mar 16, 2026

THE APP DOES NOT WORK. IT DOES NOT SAVE RESULTS, WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO FIX IT? Unfortunately my gym does not have a concept 2. There is no history on the aquafeel, the screen turns off immediately so no time to note results. I had to download the app, enter my personal data and consent to the use of all my sensitive data. It is impossible to delete work outs that were not actually a work out. This is just a terrible rowing machine compared to Conept 2 and an even worse app.

★★★★★Nov 16, 2025

★★★★★Oct 25, 2025

trash. worst erg app.

Does not connect. Tried several times over several days. Disappointing!
