Add a skill, tap «Start Timer», and the hours begin to add up. 10000 Hours: Skill Tracker keeps one running total per skill: every timed session and every manually added block of time lands in the same count, with a goal in hours, a percentage, and a history of how you got there. No sign-up, no internet, no setup beyond a name. Everything stays in the app's own database on your phone. Use it as a practice log for an instrument, a language, a sport or a craft. WHY YOU'LL LOVE 10000 HOURS: SKILL TRACKER • One total per skill: hours, minutes and seconds, always visible in the list and on the skill page. • Goal in hours: 10,000 by default, any number you like; the progress bar shows the percentage and «Left» tells you what remains. • «Start Timer» and «Stop Timer»: the timer remembers when it started, so it keeps counting even if you close the app or lock the phone, and several skills can run at once. • «Add Time»: log a session after the fact with a date and a duration in hours, minutes and seconds, for the lesson you timed on a watch or the hour you forgot to start. • History: the beginning of the journey, every time entry and every change, in order; edit or delete an entry and the total is corrected. • «Add Note»: thoughts, feelings and mood with a date, between the time entries, so the history reads like a practice diary. • Your own look: a color and an icon for each skill, a start date, an optional end date. • A list you control: search, drag to reorder, archive what you pause and bring it back later with «Unarchive». • Light and dark themes, 73 interface languages. HOW IT WORKS 1. Tap the plus, enter a name, pick a color and an icon, set a goal in hours. 2. Open the skill and tap «Start Timer» when you practice, or «Add Time» for sessions you did without the app. 3. Watch the percentage climb, and leave a note now and then about how it went. TIPS • Start the timer before you pick up the instrument, not after: the first minutes are the ones you forget. • Add a note when a session felt different, good or bad; after a month the history explains your plateaus. • Set a goal you can reach this year, then raise it; a long bar that never moves is no motivation. • Archive a skill you are not working on this season instead of deleting it: the hours stay, and «Unarchive» brings them back.
