When enabled, this service performs the following functions: • Navigation & System Actions: Receives gesture triggers (like double-tapping the home screen or executing motion shortcuts) to perform corresponding system actions, such as locking your screen or going Back, Home, Recents, or opening Notifications and Quick Settings. • Gesture Context: Reads the active application package name in real-time so that a gesture performs the correct action for the app currently in the foreground. Privacy and Data Safety: • No Data Collection: The service only reads the active app package name to determine which action applies. It does not record keystrokes, personal details, or other screen content — it is declared without permission to retrieve window content, so Android itself prevents this. • No Data Transmission: No accessed data is stored, collected, or transmitted. All processing happens locally on your device, and Searcho does not hold the INTERNET permission. • Fully Optional: These features are completely optional. The Accessibility Service is not enabled by default and can be turned off at any time in Android system settings. Searcho is not an accessibility tool for users with disabilities.
