If you want to learn to shoot a pistol, well, this is the tool. It works extremely well. Practice diligently and carefully, earn the badges, and your shooting will get better and better!

★★★★★Oct 13, 2026

My preferred dry fire laser app. With the attachment purchase of Mantis X3 it has improved my grip, trigger habit and aim. Good tutorials. The 2 thousand of laser shots taken equates to over $600 in ammo cost saved in practice.

★★★★★Oct 11, 2026

great for practice

★★★★★Oct 8, 2026

Matrix X is the best firearms training platform on the market. The hardware and app work great together for both live and dry fire. Definitely worth the investment. Bonus: You get a patch for your range bag when you complete a training course.

★★★★★Jun 9, 2026

awesome! easy to use, and a blast to train with.

★★★★★May 11, 2026

Frustrating trigger/fire detection once in a while. That will drive you crazy when you will try to progress through their 50 average shots courses ;( It will be randomly giving you 0.5 points for shot ruining your average score. Unfortunately if you're reading this review you probably already bought it and have a remorse ... ;(

Store description

MantisX is a revolutionary training system that helps you improve your shooting precision. Use of the app requires a MantisX Sensor which can be bought here: http://www.mantisx.com . It attaches to any picatinny rail (or rail adapter if your firearm doesn't have a built-in rail). The internal electronics of the MantisX Sensor collect movement data before, during, and after your shot. The app analyzes the data and diagnoses your shooting mechanics, provides real-time coaching, and determines what you need to focus on to improve most quickly. MantisX is a powerful tool that will make your training more efficient and effective.
