The designs and audio have been lifted straight out of the OG metal slugs which is great. But the actual game is kind of tedious. The missions are too fast for any builds to actually come online or be important. Success is based on stats of your equipped gear that you select and upgrade outside of the missions. You receive that gear from gacha mechanics. It's good for a momentary dopamine hit but there's not much actual game here. If you want a good bullet heaven game, this ain't it.

While I completely understand the intent to be profitable. Being spammed with "deals" immediately after the initial load screen before I've even seen the UI is crazy. And it was multiple offers. So far this is an okay game, but nothing new or unique. Just like others just with SNK's MS skin over it. Also the ads are broken, which there are tasks that require watching ads smh
