★★★★★ Not a very good e-reader, but fortunately Pooley's have had the sense to keep it simple, so you can just download the PDF from your Android device and view it on any other device you want (I'm using my own e-reader).

Has none of the features you'd expect from a useable ereader app. Terrible user interface and navigation - no pre-existing bookmarks for chapters, or chapter navigation popout. No means of quickly scrolling through, have to swipe page-by-page. Formatting is terrible for reading on a phone - text too small and half the page is white space with massive headers, footers and margins. No reflow to improve format for consumption on a phone.
Absolute horrible way to sell ebooks. And this is my happy day!

Non functional on Android tablet I downloaded the full PPL series but My Books page doesn't render properly. No pics of the books and clicking on text I can only access volumes 4,6 & 7 no matter where I click on the screen. Beyond frustrating that I'm going to have to waste my time chasing people for a solution.
Ebooks has stoped working on android, please help, otherwise 5 stars
Basically just a glorified bookshop and PDF downloader. Not a very good e-reader, but fortunately Pooley's have had the sense to keep it simple, so you can just download the PDF from your Android device and view it on any other device you want (I'm using my own e-reader). The PDF is watermarked to dissuade sharing, but it's not DRM-locked. Kudos to Pooley's: they could have gone with DRM and made their app semi-unusable, but instead they chose to be simple and fair with their customers, and I'm happy with the result.
