hardware is good. software app on android is awful. sooooo slow and laggy. many times just waiting and watching while the spinning circle spins. would worry if I have to find my dog in a hurry. was signed out of the app (resign occasionally for security purposes!) while on a walk. couldn't sign back in as I didn't have password. thankfully I didn't need find my dog! a friend moved from pitpat to tractive because of same issues. apparently tractive just works - no delays or lag.

The hardware seems solid and works well, but the application is painfully slow at loading everything. A nice feature would be a notification in the status bar when you start a walk, so it's easy to see when a walk is started and reminds you to stop it.
