HOW SURE ARE WE
Not in any grossing chart, so this comes from ratings growth (4.3 new ratings a month on average since launch): revenue grows with new ratings, more slowly for apps that collect ratings fast. Tested on 418 apps with verified revenue: typically off by about 2 times, and big earners tend to come out low. Countries we don't track (and Google Play in China, which doesn't exist) aren't included, and neither are ads or web payments. Gross revenue before store fees.

WHAT THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT · SHARE OF BAD REVIEWS
Price and subscription16%

7 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Hoping for a solution from the devs or else I may have to resort to a refund.
★★★★★ I'm waiting for my refund now.
★★★★★ You should provide a trial first before right away charging so our money ain't wasted for nothing.
Bugs, things not working14%

6 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ This simply doesn't work.
★★★★★ Adding pictures doesn't work...
★★★★★ I bought the app but not working on my phone.
Wrong or poor results7%

3 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Backup and sync functions are useless!
★★★★★ When it comes to flash cards and language learning your best friend is spaced repetition but the spaced repetition with this app was way too confusing to set up and the default settings were useless.
★★★★★ The other flaw is that it bases the intervals on time instead of 'sets' and this makes the app useless for people that don't use it as a primary means of study.
Login and account problems5%

2 of the 1 and 2 star reviews.

★★★★★ Website refers to sign in but the app once i downloaded did not require a sign in.
★★★★★ Just spins endlessly after login and the app must be force closed.
WHAT THEY ASK FOR
  • You can also add more than just two sides for each flashcard which can come in handy. 5★, Mar 21, 2026
  • Please make the system control theme the same to the one the user has chosen for his decks. 5★, Apr 14, 2023
  • It would be awesome if you could make it available for laptops and desktop. 5★, Jan 7, 2023
  • Could you add the ability to add folders in folders? 5★, Dec 18, 2022
  • Please make windows version as soon as possible. 5★, Sep 6, 2021
  • In this regard, please include functions that enable interaction by Bluetooth headsets, especially for forward and backward while playing "TTS" in the browsing mode. 4★, Sep 12, 2020
  • There are a few features I wish it had but it's not a make or break for me since I'm using it to replace flashcards. 5★, May 5, 2019
  • This app does everything I want and I think it's easier (and prettier) than Anki. 5★, Mar 4, 2019

★★★★★ I've used this app for years and I love its highly functional, uncluttered design.

★★★★★ Now I'm using it to study for a new course at Penn Foster, in jewelry repair and design.
Worth the money6%

★★★★★ Worth every penny and then some.
★★★★★ I appreciated the shop letting you test drive the app with the free version, Flashcards Deluxe Lite, before committing to purchasing it.
★★★★★ You can set the app to hands-free so the flashcards flip by themselves with text to voice to go with it.
Great support5%

20 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ Also when I had an issue I emailed the support and the next day he provided a solution.
★★★★★ Support is fast and responds accurately to concerns or questions.

★★★★★Aug 2, 2026

it's simple, yet powerful, and well programmed. If I could ask for something, maybe it would be compatibility with TeX.

★★★★★May 9, 2026

Aplicativo mal otimizado para o Motorola Moto G05, fica cortando as informações numéricas (estatísticas) na tela inicial dos decks...

★★★★★Apr 2, 2026

used this app for around a decade and it's great!

★★★★★Mar 25, 2026

Great app, used it for years, but dreadful icon - no material or monochrome option, can't have it on my minimalist home screen, looks awful. And such a long name. Dev clearly isn't interested in aesthetics and isn't responsive to user feedback. Such a shame, I'd use it more if it wasn't hidden away in the drawer.
