I had to uninstall. almost all articles became content you needed to pay for. You already have to sign up to use so they collect some data. there is advertising so also making revenue of you using the app then on top of that that still want you to pay for most articles. There are other free news apps
This app used to be better but has become crapified. It's not clear what you have read and what you have not. It's newest "feature" of telling you how many new stories are available is intrusive and unhelpful. It can't be got rid of without clicking it, and that just takes you back to the top of the feed. Where was I again? no idea. :( . Sad, because this app could easily be so much better.
It is quite unforgivable for a site to have videos that have ads that don't allow you to skip through. While 15 seconds may not seem very long, if you are reading a lot of articles, this is too long, especially if you keep seeing the same ad. Full screen ads that randomly pop up are also incredibly annoying. App has made me sign in three times in the last three days. Unacceptable. If I get asked one more time, I will unsubscribe , the same way I did with Stuff when it did the same thing.
I think nz herald is fab , it covers everything and. is always available it's updates and info is precise and really wrong. I only have personal reason for my 4 star rating don't take it personally.

app is slow to start, and regularry freezes and Android has to stop the app. also the new artiles msg on top is very unusefull. previous version of app was much better.
