HOW SURE ARE WE
Lower confidence: this app ranks below the overall top 50 everywhere, where single estimates can be off 2 to 4 times. The range is wide on purpose. Countries we don't track (and Google Play in China, which doesn't exist) aren't included, and neither are ads or web payments. Gross revenue before store fees.

WHAT THEY ASK FOR
  • Please give one portal daily 🙏 😢 4★, Sep 20, 2026
  • I wish I had discovered this app when it first came out! 5★, Jul 26, 2026
  • It would be great to see how many kilometers you have gone. 5★, Jul 4, 2026
  • Could you please add an option to enable background work only while charging? 5★, Jun 14, 2026
  • Would love to see a wiki or guide to better understand the mechanics, such as how to get portals and what role giving reviews actually plays. 4★, Jun 13, 2026
  • I like this app, however, it would be great if on the discovery tab, if you could click on cities and countries, that it would give you a list of cities and countries discovered, that's the only reason why I'm not… 4★, May 20, 2026
  • it has potential, but it should have connection to Strava/Suunto/Garmin to be actually good. 3★, Apr 18, 2026
  • Would be nice if it for example grew for given city fragment when reaching high %, but still would probably not help in many cases. 4★, Mar 18, 2026

The app doesn't respect window insets sometimes, and system Back button closes the app from any screen instead of actually navigating back

★★★★★Oct 16, 2026

Good for just walking, but not good for drive exploring unless going under 20mph. i know it says 30, but I went under25 and it said I was over 35.

★★★★★Oct 12, 2026

You're clearing haze off a map as you explore the world. A very satisfying feeling and great encouragement to explore somewhere new. A couple of things that need work: Inaccessible areas/bodies of water and very differently sized areas which make it extremely challenging to "complete" an area. And still a massive drain on the battery - 39 per cent drain on a new Pixel, just from walking around home. Despite that, I've never walked this much in my life! A fun app with so much potential.

★★★★★Oct 7, 2026

lifelong subscribed, but for a month app crashes and closes immediately after loading fog runs to 100%. is there anyway to fix that?

★★★★★Oct 4, 2026

I had a lot of issues with my home country fragments when I first downloaded the app. I finally figured it out after a while only for the newest update to completely remove my home country again, even after completing obliterating all app data and reinstalling. It doesn't even show in the country number. Hope it's fixed soon.
