This app provides, using weather conditions and your engine configuration, a recommendation about jetting and spark plug to use for karts with Rotax Max EVO (Senior, Minimax, Micromax, Supermax, DD2 or Junior), which use a Dellorto VHSB 34 XS carb to get the best performance. In order to get the weather values, the application can use the GPS to obtain the position and altitude, and the network connection to get the temperature, pressure and humidity from the nearest weather station. Nevertheless, the application can run without GPS and internet connection, in this case, the user has to enter the weather data. The application is made up of four tabs: - Results: shows the recommended main jet, needle position, spark plug and air density for the weather conditions and the engine you have configured. It also lets you fine tune the recommendation, one tenth at a time, to adapt it to your own engine. - Conditions: temperature, altitude, pressure and humidity. You can type them in or bring them from the nearest weather station, located with the GPS. The app tells you when the reading was taken, so you know whether it is already stale. - Engine: the engine type (Senior, Supermax, Junior, Micromax, Minimax or DD2), the model year, the spark plug brand, the needle type, the float and pilot jet combo, the floats height, the venturi, the airbox type, the oil ratio and oil type of the mix, and the track. - Logbook: saves every session with the jetting you actually fitted, how the engine felt and your best lap. Once you have a few sessions recorded, the app works out how far your engine sits from the recommendation and offers to set that as your default adjustment. Sessions can be exported to CSV. It also includes a mix calculator: give it the litres and the percentage and it tells you how much oil to pour. The application works with different measure units: inHg, mb, mmHg, hPa, atm for pressure, ºC and ºF for temperature, metres and feet for altitude. If you click in "More from developer" you can find the other karting tools from ISEnet: - Jetting Max Kart, for Rotax Max non-Evo engines (Rotax Max before 2015). - Kart Chassis Setup, that helps you set up your chassis easily, for all brands: CRG, Tony Kart, Maranello, Birel, Intrepid, Energy, etc. - Other carburation apps for go karts: + IAME X30 & Leopard + TM KZ / ICC / Shifter (K9, K9B, K9C, KZ10, KZ10B). + Honda CR125 powered shifter go-kart. + Modena KK1 & KK1R + IAME Shifter, Screamer & SuperShifter + Yamaha KT100. - Air Density Meter: if you don't find a specific jetting app for your engine, you can use this app to create jetting charts. - Apps for MX bikes (KTM, Honda CR & CRF, Yamaha YZ, Suzuki RM, Kawasaki KX). The app is valid for RGMMC (Rotax Max Challenge) or SKUSA, but is not valid for Rotax Max FR125 before 2015. For them, you should install Jetting Max Kart. We're working on new carburetion apps for other kart engines (LKE, Maxter, TKM, Vortex, WTP, etc.) and on new apps for Alfano / Mychron visualization. PERMISSIONS: The application only needs two permissions, and both are optional: - Location: to place you and find the nearest weather station. If you don't grant it, you can type the weather data in by hand and the app works just the same. - Internet: to query that station. All the calculation is done on the phone, offline. The application does not collect personal data. Your logbook sessions are stored on your phone only.
