New: pay once with the lifetime option, or choose a yearly plan. Special offers are now in Settings. The welcome and plan screens fit better on small phones and with large text. General improvements.

TopoXY is a coordinate converter for surveyors. It converts between your national grid and WGS84 both ways, measures distance, bearing, area and perimeter, and reads terrain slope straight off the map. A coordinate converter for WGS84 and UTM, a GPS coordinates tool and a land survey app in one: enter your points and TopoXY converts them and works out area and perimeter. Stereo70, PUWG 1992 and PUWG 2000, S-JTSK Krovak, Gauss-Boaga and ETRS89 / UTM are all built in, for land survey, geodesy, civil engineering and GIS work across six countries. PRECISION CONVERSION • Stereo70 (EPSG:3844) to WGS84 and back, aligned with PROJ • Poland (PUWG 1992 and PUWG 2000), Czech Republic and Slovakia (S-JTSK Krovak), Italy (Gauss-Boaga), Germany (ETRS89 / UTM) • Pick the zone your measurements were surveyed in: Gauss-Boaga zone 1 or 2, UTM 32N or 33N, any of the four PUWG 2000 zones • Sub-metre for Poland, Czech Republic and Germany. Around 1 to 3 m for Romania and Slovakia and about 4 m for Italy, where no national correction grid is bundled. The app shows that tier on screen. • Bulk import from CSV or TXT files • Coordinates formatted the way each country writes them FIELD MEASUREMENTS • Distance and bearing between two points, azimuth plus cardinal direction • Area and perimeter for a polygon of three points or more • Add points by hand or from your current GPS position • Copy every result to the clipboard in one tap MAP AND TERRAIN • Standard map and high-resolution satellite imagery • Slope between two points, with elevation filled in automatically from terrain data • Navigate to any point with Google Maps or Waze BUILT FOR SURVEYORS • No account, no sign-up: open the app and work • The conversion runs on your phone with no signal. Maps and elevation need a connection. • Seven interface languages: English, Romanian, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Italian and German • TopoXY is on iPhone too, under the same name TopoXY is free to install. The TopoXY Pro subscription unlocks the results card, which holds distance, bearing, area, perimeter and the converted coordinates, plus CSV and TXT import, the full-screen map and terrain analysis, and it removes the ads. New subscribers start with three days free, then weekly or monthly billing. Cancel any time in Google Play. Note: TopoXY is an engineering aid. Surveying is a regulated activity in Romania, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Italy and Germany. Official records require certification from a licensed surveyor, so check results against authorised equipment before you file anything.
