update: they've emailed to say they've fixed this bug. despite the issue being super annoying and the fix at the time being pure luck, appreciate the customer service and glad this issue is fixed. June 26: has been great until I tried to switch phones and it won't let me register, back up, sign in or transfer data. just glitches on both phones if i try to do anything in my profile. paying for the subscription too.
