It is a useful summary of the day's news. But One is left with the overwhelming feeling that it is not a very loved bit of software. It had gradually been getting worse over the years, and, for example, now won't display any of the graphs that are frequently at the end of an article. I am running the Android version on a pixel phone

Like most android apps, it is ignored and bugs don't get fixed. I really like the content of the app, but my pleas to have the economist fix the app have gone unanswered. The charts and graphics have not worked in a long time, but you used to be able to select them to see them on a new window. That doesn't work any longer and they just appear blank. I will continue to pay for it for as long as the content is still readable. It's anyone's guess how long that'll be. My bet is the next big update
