The game itself is very fun. But in addition to problems brought up by other recent reviews, this game needs cloud save integration with Google Play on Android and Steam on PC. For a modern game to lack this feature is inexcusable.

I really love this game... Just not on my Android devices. The right movement button has very little area, while the left button takes up almost the entire left side of the screen. I frequently find it difficult to move correctly. My fingers block the bottom part of the screen, so I can't see enemies and blocks down below as I would on other devices. It eludes me as to why this game doesn't have native controller support on Android when it uses a controller just fine on every other platform.

Controls are simple and its easy to pick up and play to pass time but obviously requires some attention while playing so you cant turn your brain off completely if thats what your looking for. Very simple satisfying graphics on things like the gun boots which make the game flow really well once you get the hang of it.

Downwell is a curious game about a young person venturing down a well in search of untold treasures with only his Gunboots for protection. Make your way further and further down into the darkness filled with nasty creatures and mysterious secrets to collect the spectacular red gems scattered about the rocks. Step into precariously placed shops and buy some helpful items or level up between levels to battle well-dwelling monsters and uncover hidden caves filled with riches and relics. No two trips down the well are ever the same! The Amazing Gunboots - The fashionable and lethal Gunboots allow players to unleash a torrent of firepower on the nasty creatures dwelling in the well and slow your decent with each shot. Unique Weapons & Items - Get different weapons, shop for peculiar items and obtain powerful upgrades that all stack and affect the way you play!
