★★★★★ Deceiving advertising, useless app, DON'T SUBSCRIBE.

★★★★★ The brand new update completly ruined the app.
★★★★★ Update: Response to Truple, the one star and the review has nothing to do with the performance of the app.

I used Covenant Eyes for about 20 years but switched bc Truple could handle a Chromebook. There was a hiccup in install on Chromebook but worked it out. Otherwise on regular laptop and phone it's perfect. Don't know it's there. It does it's job.

★★★★★Sep 6, 2026

best free option on the market. Moves seamlessly between devices and doesn't make internet unusable or have to use an unsecured web browser.

★★★★★Sep 4, 2026

so far so good

★★★★★Aug 31, 2026

Can we also have an exception option for a specific url? Like cleanbrowsing, they have a url exception option.

★★★★★Aug 20, 2026

All in all a good app, with a good filter. Sometimes a bit oversensitive, but that's how it is sometimes. The lock works well, however it's a pity the pin and delay unlock cannot be combined, you either settle with the delay without the pin or pin without delay. If you plan to use the app without subscription, the important parts work very well. If you want the subscription if those limitations don't bother you, it's also worth it. All in all, would recommend.

★★★★★Aug 4, 2026

Very light weight quick functional web filter, blocks any unneeded content or ads.

* Android 16

Store description

Truple - Porn Filter is a lightweight DNS filter Features: • Blocks adult content sites, phishing sites, and optionally mixed content sites (using adult + mixed filter) • Works across entire phone, including browsers, apps, etc.* • Filters incognito mode / private browser modes • Runs on startup • Safe search enforced on most search engines (using adult + mixed filter) • (Premium) App blocker • (Premium) Send an email alert to a friend when filter is locked/unlocked***, or when the filter is forcibly shutdown • (Premium) Use a Pin to lock the filter. Locking makes it difficult for the filter to be shutdown. • (Premium) Set a delay (5 mins - 72 hours) before unlocking the filter. * Certain apps with proxies built in may not be filtered. For these apps use the app blocker to prevent access to them. **** Filter locking is designed for stock android OS. If your device uses a highly modified android OS, it may not work properly. If you find the app stops on it's own, please see https://dontkillmyapp.com?app=Truple%20Web%20Filter for instructions to adjust app permissions to ensure it runs properly. This isn't necessary for stock android. Premium features require a subscription of $5 / month ($4.17 / month if paid annually). Some internet service providers (ISP) may block the DNS filtering service. Unfortunately the only people who can "fix" this are your network administrators and/or your ISP. Please Note • You can only use a single filter at a time. This app uses Accessibility services. It uses the BIND_ACCESSIBILITY_SERVICE permission in order to lock the filter and provide blocking functionality. This app uses the Device Administrator permission. The Device Administrator permission is used to prevent "force stop" and "uninstall" attempts when the filter is locked.
