would be 5 but there appears to be a glitch in how wins are recorded for characters as I have won tier 1 with the samurai, trooper and few others and it's not registered the win and therefore I can't use them in tier 2. not that I'd want to use the samurai at all because it is so weakkkk. why use anything but the cyborg when you get free scaling DMG from the get go??

Very fun, good humor. Fun to play around with builds. The only thing I could see to make the game better is to buff some dudes(medic dude i couldn't really get to be viable) and the ability to see even more stats. like enemy stats and more relic stats.

Ya know what I needed? A game to collect achievements and feed me dopamine while not having to pay beyond an acceptable up front amount. What's this? A new drop from Butterscotch Shenanigans? The devs who gave me a cozy alien collection farming game in Crashlands? Check. Humor? Check. Good loop? Check. Collectable achievos? CHECK. It's a good game. Play it. Have fun.

The balance in this game becomes apparent when you get to the third difficulty. It doesn't exist. Too many dudes are way worse than others and you need to plan for it, or you'll end up wasting hours of your life. Good luck on chasing achievements. Fix the balance guys. Too often you're stuck waiting on one relic to change a loser into a winner and that feels like garbage. Dudes should have fun synergies, not depending on relics. Fine for $10, but don't expect a polished & balanced, experience.
