HOW SURE ARE WE
Lower confidence: this app ranks below the overall top 50 everywhere, where single estimates can be off 2 to 4 times. The range is wide on purpose. Countries we don't track (and Google Play in China, which doesn't exist) aren't included, and neither are ads or web payments. Gross revenue before store fees.

★★★★★ The one star is because of the way the app is run when you 'subscribe'.

What users say

Latest reviews, Japan Google Play.

★★★★★Sep 1, 2026

The ads that suddenly appear under your thumb as you're scrolling and open a different app make this absolutely infuriating to use. I usually end up opening the Telegraph website in browser instead.

★★★★★Jun 27, 2026

I love, love, love The Belfast Telegraph new format! Goodbye The Guardian!

★★★★★Apr 17, 2026

Terrible experience, since the update I have been unable to view the news stories that I want to. I can click on a particular story but the app often chooses a completely different story to show me. I raised the issue with Bel Tel but was told that they weren't aware of any issue. I have since cancelled my subscription. The lack of help and understanding was actually worse than the issues that I encountered with the app. Terrible customer "service". Amateurs. App already deleted! Sub cancelled.

★★★★★Mar 31, 2026

Similar experience to another reviewer. since the app update user experience has become terrible. You click on one story and it opens an entirely different one. I am paying £9.99 a month. I won't be for much longer unless this issue is addressed.

★★★★★Feb 24, 2026

fantastic app. the only one that doesn't constantly talk about disease, sickness etc. unlike BBC total roots.

★★★★★Feb 10, 2026

uninstalled immediately. first page asks you to create an account 🙄 why would I want an account!
