WHAT THEY ASK FOR
  • Google needs to add a manual update schedule for their iCal sync. 5★, Jan 16, 2019
  • I'd happily give the final star if you could add the ability to set a default per-calendar reminder time for each appointment it syncs down. 4★, Aug 25, 2016
  • Bonus points if you could add some sort of capability to add a filter to NOT add such a reminder, eg. 4★, Aug 25, 2016

★★★★★ It works as advertised, very simple, light weight and convenient.
★★★★★ Easy to setup and configure, instant integration with Google calendar and exceptional synchronization....it was worth spending the few dollars.
Useful, it helps11%

5 of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

★★★★★ This app helps get around that by syncing to the published URL I configured for my account.
★★★★★ A hidden gem of an app, so helpful for adding external calendars (in my case Proton) into the Google system so to appear in widgets, on watches, etc.
★★★★★ Does exactly what I needed to it to do.
Accurate, great results11%

★★★★★Oct 14, 2026

same as other users... when it syncs, it works great, but I'm CONSTANTLY finding it hasn't synced in days even though I have regular sync intervals checked and activated.

★★★★★Oct 1, 2026

Great when it works. But regularly things will be missing from my calendar and I'll discover ICSx5 hasn't synced in days.

★★★★★Sep 28, 2026

Super rad - my company locks down Exchange/O365 access and disallows BYO devices unless you run their device management/spyware on your personal device. This app helps get around that by syncing to the published URL I configured for my account. I am able to get my company calendar on my personal device so i don't have to carry both, but keeps my device safe from corporate prying eyes.

★★★★★Sep 26, 2026

Doesn't seem to work well for files updated by Syncthing, I get permission errors as soon as the file is updated, and the sync no longer works. Could this be fixed?

★★★★★Apr 30, 2026

Sometimes it just stops working. I need to check it every morning to be sure it didn't stop updating my work calendar during the night for unknown reasons and without any error msg or log.

★★★★★Feb 9, 2026

A bit shameful that Android still doesn't offer native Webcal support.
