This is a really great way to teach fractions to kids without the educational aspect smacking you in the face all the time, it feels organic. However, I really dislike that the game gives you the answer or makes the solution easier if you fail a few times. I understand that is an attempt to help smooth the frustration a kid might feel but it also ruins learning and more importantly can't be disabled.

8 year old loves it. It looks fun to play and looks like it teaches maths in a gentle, non-intrusive, fun way. It may not teach as fast as some of the "school" apps (I don't know that it doesn't) but I don't have any struggles getting my 8 year old to play. it's fun, not work.
