Terrible onboarding experience

The app gives almost no useful guidance during setup (the product itself came with zero instructions). It doesn’t clearly tell you that Sensibo Sky requires 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, doesn’t explain what the different LED states mean, tells you to scan a QR code that’s on the device after you already might have mounted it, and when Wi-Fi setup fails it just spins without explaining why or what to do next. I eventually had to find Sensibo’s support pages online and configure Wi-Fi manually. Even after setup, the app shows a warning triangle without explaining what the warning means. The hardware may be fine, but the app turns what should be a five-minute setup into an unnecessary IT troubleshooting project. The app should guide the user through the process instead of requiring external documentation, and it should tell you the steps and what you need to prepare before you start. Worst UX in quite a while.

“Smart” features make it really dumb

If all you need to do is turn AC on, this works fine. However, if you are looking for any kind of smart responses to humidity, temperature, time etc. it’s unreliable and glitchy. For instance, if we turn off the AC because it’s going to be cold overnight, it will turn itself back on at 2 AM. If a kid touches a button on the AC, the Sensibo loses contact and needs to be reset in person. We were better off with the app that came with the AC.

Just a few requests to make this awesome please!

There are SO many reasons for SO many seasons to have pre-sets. Please add them! Change the “Graphs and Logs” to show back to back events (like milliseconds apart) as one timed event! There is NO need to show them as two events. It’s mind-numbingly painful to have to skim through so many logs for no reason! Save space and add extra time backwards!

Sensibo Plus pricing/purchasing?

The app description says Sensibo + costs 2.99/mo, but the app says it's 4.99/mo, but then the app won't even let you purchase by the month, it just ignores you if you try to purchase a monthly subscription and only works if you purchase by the year, which is $34.99. Also please change the way you can adjust the temperature in climate react. The little + and - things drive me crazy (I always get near the temp I want, and then bam it slides all the way to the end!), and the slider is so hard to get exact. Just let me type in the friggin temp I want. And climate react needs a home and away setting. I’d love to be able to maintain my AC at a less power hungry setting when in away then when I’m home.
