Hi Qobuz team! I’m a very happy Qobuz subscriber, and since you’re asking for feedback, I’d love to share a few things that I genuinely think could make Qobuz much better. First: Last.fm integration. This is probably my biggest request. For listeners who care about music discovery, listening history and statistics, native and reliable scrobbling would make a huge difference. Having to depend on third-party solutions, especially on iOS, makes the experience unnecessarily complicated. Second: better listening history and statistics inside Qobuz itself. I would love to see detailed listening data: most played artists, albums and tracks, play counts, listening time, monthly/yearly recaps and a complete history. Qobuz attracts people who are deeply interested in music, so I think this kind of feature fits the audience perfectly. Third: better integration with music databases and discovery platforms such as Album of the Year. AOTY provides direct links to almost every major streaming service, but Qobuz is notably absent. I would love to be able to discover an album there and go directly to Qobuz instead of searching for it manually. And I’ve recently noticed the same problem with artists’ official smart links. When an artist announces a new single or album on Instagram, their Linkfire/“link in bio” page usually offers Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, TIDAL and Deezer — but very often not Qobuz, even when the release is already available on Qobuz. Since Linkfire supports Qobuz, I think working more closely with labels, distributors and smart-link platforms could dramatically improve Qobuz’s visibility. It may look like a small issue, but these links are one of the main ways people access new releases today. Qobuz shouldn’t be invisible there. I’d also love to see social and sharing features improved. Qobuz has an audience of people who genuinely love albums, mastering, editions and sound quality. Making it easier to share what we’re listening to, create attractive album/song cards for Instagram Stories, share playlists and perhaps eventually follow other listeners would make the service feel much more connected. Discovery could also become more personal. I love Qobuz’s editorial approach and I absolutely don’t want it to become another algorithm-only platform, but combining human curation with stronger personalized recommendations based on my actual listening habits would be fantastic. I also think Qobuz could communicate its biggest strength — sound quality and music information — even better inside the app. More accessible information about mastering, release versions, labels, credits, composers, producers and available resolutions would reinforce what makes Qobuz different from its competitors. Finally, I’d love to see Qobuz become more visible outside Qobuz itself. You already have an excellent product. Sometimes the problem is simply that the rest of the digital music ecosystem behaves as if Qobuz doesn’t exist. Better integration with music websites, smart links, social platforms and third-party apps could change that enormously. I’ve already sent some suggestions to Qobuz Support — and Priya has been incredibly kind and patient with me 😅 — so I apologize for being the user who always has another idea! But it’s genuinely because I love Qobuz and want to see it become even better. You already won me over on sound quality. Now I want Qobuz to be just as strong in integration, discovery, statistics, sharing and visibility. ❤️🎵
