HOW SURE ARE WE
Not in any grossing chart, so this comes from ratings growth (77074 new ratings a month on average since launch): revenue grows with new ratings, more slowly for apps that collect ratings fast. Tested on 418 apps with verified revenue: typically off by about 2 times, and big earners tend to come out low. Countries we don't track (and Google Play in China, which doesn't exist) aren't included, and neither are ads or web payments. Gross revenue before store fees.

App not loading properly

App keeps asking me for my name and says it already exist but won’t load

★★★★★Oct 21, 2026
AI Broke Alexa & Echo DOTS

Nothing in the app matches the AI help descriptions and it is impossible to find anything. Ridiculous that Audible, which is owned by Amazon, no longer works and cannot be found vial a search because the AI returns results for every Alexa prompt that is “audible”/ can be heard- so- thousands or phrases starting with “Alexa…”

★★★★★Oct 21, 2026
Update almost unresponsive

Latest update as of 10/21/26 is so sluggish as to be extremely difficult to use. Seems unresponsive. I tried repeatedly to add an item to my shopping list, eventually gave up due to no discernible response. A few days later I looked at my list and found the item on my list, but duplicated 9 times.

★★★★★Oct 21, 2026
Not happy

I do not like the update for Alexa. I find her chatty, supposedly helpful voice annoying. I don’t need cheerful nonsensical updates when I just ask a simple question. So I changed back to the old Alexa.
