HOW SURE ARE WE
Not in any grossing chart, so this comes from ratings growth (80 new ratings a month on average since launch): revenue grows with new ratings, more slowly for apps that collect ratings fast. Tested on 418 apps with verified revenue: typically off by about 2 times, and big earners tend to come out low. Countries we don't track (and Google Play in China, which doesn't exist) aren't included, and neither are ads or web payments. Gross revenue before store fees.

WHAT THEY ASK FOR
  • I should have just bought an old fashioned 'dumb' treadmill instead of this waste of money that only works occasionally. 1★, Feb 13, 2025

  • Also please add Apple Watch heart rate functionality to it. 5★, Feb 5, 2021
  • Given the fact that the vast majority of the treadmill's function is based on its connection to the app and the cost of the treadmill itself (over $4000), this app should have functioned much better from the start. 3★, Dec 22, 2020
  • Basically, I have had to resort to just maxing out time or distance as a set run and running for what i want and stopping. 3★, Dec 22, 2020

Garbage app, garbage hardware

Awful experience - the app keeps disconnecting from the treadmill, which immediately cancels the workout. It also can’t seem to stay connected to my Apple Watch for heart monitoring. I have never had these problems with the Peleton app. I should have just bought an old fashioned ‘dumb’ treadmill instead of this waste of money that only works occasionally.

★★★★★Mar 7, 2024
Freezes in background

App freezes in background and becomes out of sync with MyRun treadmill. The treadmill keeps going and time is right but on the app it’s frozen and out of date. Doesn’t always happen but seems to be happening often with recent update(s). Silly that I can’t multitask while walking on treadmill with iPad. This treadmill was over $4k please fix this is stupid for something this pricey.

★★★★★Mar 2, 2024
Technogym plus

Subscribing to the plus services is frustrating. Technogym live doesn’t recognize my subscription even with restoring my purchase. Apple Watch connection constantly dropped by app. I use a chest strap and I don’t have that issue. I like the quality of the treadmill but with all the frustration with the app in hindsight I would have chosen a different brand treadmill. I expected better for the price of the treadmill.

Great with one issue

have a myrun, and you need to be connected to the equipment to see the different programmed runs, which is frustrating. Love Technogym and the myrun is the best treadmill I’ve had without a doubt, Technogym is great and this app is great with the one little issue.

Glitch in heart rate monitor with Apple Watch. Using MyRun

Update Nov 2, 2023: Glitch Since the latest Apple WatchOS update (10.1), after connecting app for heart rate monitoring, there is a non-stop beeping+haptic of the watch, which never happened before. It does monitor the heart rate, however the steady beep/alarm makes it basically unusable. Please check issue and update app. Thanks!
